My favorite Sushi restaurant in LA, Katsuya makes the most delicious and stunningly beautiful white grape fruit cocktail. Every time I dine there I MUST have one…Ok, or maybe two or three ;)
Since I don’t live in LA, I had to find a way to satisfy my craving, so I started experimenting at home with different ingredients until I found the perfectly balanced flavor of tangy and sweet! One of the reasons I decided to share this drink recipe with you all is how wonderful it can be for holiday parties! The ice white liquid sparkles with a perfect ruby red cranberry floating on top …it just screams holiday cheer! Happy Holidays
1 ½ oz. grapefruit vodka
1 oz. white grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed or store bought
½ oz. triple sec
½ oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
Raw cranberries (can be found in your local super market Oct.-Dec.)
Chill a martini glass in the freezer
Fill a cocktail shaker full of ice
Pour in grapefruit vodka, white grapefruit juice, triple sec, and lime juice.
Shake for 30 seconds
Pour into the chilled martini glass; drop in one raw cranberry to float on top and…Enjoy!
